Principal Guide of Great Perfection

The Great Perfection is the peak of the 9 Vehicles of the Dharma. It is known as the Ati Yoga, the most profound and important practice of Tibetan Buddhism. Relative to all of samsara and nirvana, the Great Perfection is known as the most precious "Mani" Jewel.

The "Chang Ge – wish-fulfilling Gem", Ronggen Wamsho confirmed that the young H.H. Lhoga Rinpoche is the "Dharma King of Ultimate Truth"who has realised the Great Perfection and who will propagate the Vajrayana Teachings widely. Chang Ge Tulku completely entrusted the main Lineage of Longchenpa to His Holiness and transmitted the ear-whispered Teachings of Longsar Nyingpo to Him.

All the Karma and Terma lineages of Ultimate Liberation were poured into His Holiness, traditionally analogic to "the powerful nectar of Dharma being poured into a precious and worthy vase".

In the Dzogchen Nyingthig and the Terma Lineages of Duddul and LongSar, His Holiness has complete control over the channels, winds, drops and others. His Holiness has perfect, complete, unobstructed and penetrative understanding of the entire Dharma.

When His Holiness went into retreat in the residence of His predecessor at the Meditation Centre, the "right" tantric college of Ling Gen within the holy precincts of Kathok, during the practices of the "Yidam Guru Drakpo of Fiery Flame of Wisdom" and the "Vajrakilaya", the syllables of "Hum . Ma . Ha . Ri . Ni . Sa" that His Holiness wrote on a bronze mirror with His bare fingers which could not be wiped away. It was just like mantric syllables that have spontaneously –arisen on the mirror.

His Holiness's inconceivably great activities for the benefit of all beings

Thereafter, as a result of the ripening of previous karmic link, His Holiness began to turn the Wheel of Dharma to spread the Teachings of Lord Buddha. To yogi-practitioners in long-term retreat at Ling Gen, His Holiness gave initiations, oral-transmission as well as guidance on Dharma practice.

To the general practitioners and populace, His Holiness propagated the Dharma on a much wider scale and held the complete major initiations of Duddul and Long Sar many times. His Holiness's footsteps could be found all over the larger and smaller monasteries of Kham. The fortunate disciples who received initiations from Him run literally into numbers of several hundreds of thousands.

There are often numerous unimaginably auspicious signs when His Holiness turn the Wheel of Dharma such as the actual manifestation of the Yidam themselves and so on. In order to improve the living conditions of the people in the Tibetan regions and to increase the opportunity for the young to have education and more conducive environment for studying, His Holiness strongly supported the building of hospitals and schools.

Every offering that His Holiness received daily was used entirely for the building of monasteries, retreat centres and Buddhist colleges or universities. His Holiness even contributed generously to the re-building of monasteries from other traditions. This greatly assisted the recovery and revival of many monasteries and to the continuation of the Dharma.

Being the heart-son of His Teacher, Khenchen Jiang Yang Wo Se, His Holiness has a personal obligation to rebuild The Kathok Monastery.

For 10 years, H.H. Mocha Rinpoche, Drimed Shiong Jung Rinpoche and H.H. Lhoga Rinpoche, all struggled together amidst immense hardship for the re-building of the holy Kathok Monastery.

In 1989, His Holiness successfully rebuilt the Ling Gen Mediation Centre of Kathok.

In 1992, the initial re-building of the main Kathok Monastery was completed. The magnificently grand hall could hold up to 2,000 monks who would either be reciting sutras or doing pujas all at the same time. Besides, there are also the serene Kathok Buddhist University, the Dharma Publishing House, the Retreat Centres and the monks' quarters.
